Since the upgrade to the 2010 version of the McAfee software, I have had a number of issues with it, including the relatively minor one of getting an occasional 'McSvHost.exe' error message being thrown up on shut-down, and I have made a few contributions to this discussion on the forum-> Would be nice to get any suggestions on how to fix this.Rather than take another discussion even further off-topic, I decided to create a new one, because I thought you might be interested. I usually get this sound effect when I'm installing directx or programs that need to update/install drivers or services thats not signed by microsoft. When i was installing the firewall i got this windows information sound effect when comodo was installing the firewall kernel. I tried the new firewall release today to see if the problem was fixed, but its not.īut i have an idea about whats causing the problem now.
